IT Specialist – Retail – IKEA Dubai Festival City

About the role

The IT Specialist will ensure seamless operation of all IT systems within the IKEA Dubai Festival City store. This role directly supports daily sales, customer experience, and coworker productivity by maintaining and improving ERP applications and underlying infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain business applications and databases, ensuring data quality and operational efficiency.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day IT support across multiple stores and business units, meeting defined SLA response and resolution times.
• Implement and integrate digital and IT solutions across store and online channels in coordination with the Business Solutions Manager and project teams.
• Support project teams in configuring and rolling out digital solutions for market expansion, adhering to project timelines.
• Develop and deploy Microsoft Dynamics 365, NAV, and Business Central solutions, including integrations with other systems.
• Monitor and guarantee optimal performance and availability of critical IT infrastructure and applications.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as an IT analyst in the retail sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central, D365, and CRM365.
• Hands‑on experience managing SQL and Oracle databases and troubleshooting technical issues.
• 1‑2 years of direct experience with D365, Business Central, or NAV implementations.
