IT Support Engineer – Dubai

About the role

MRV Tech Computer is seeking a proactive IT Support Engineer to deliver first‑level technical assistance to end users in Dubai. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues, ensuring smooth daily IT operations, and supporting healthcare applications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support via phone and remote tools, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and system problems.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows 10/11 operating systems, desktops, laptops, printers and scanners.
• Support Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues including LAN, Wi‑Fi and basic VPN.
• Log and monitor incidents in the ticketing system and maintain IT asset inventory.
• Configure and update Antivirus/EDR solutions and firewalls, including VLAN setups.
• Assist with Group Policy (GPO) tasks and ensure compliance with IT security standards.
• Support healthcare applications such as EMR and ERP, handling backups and incident response.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with GPO, firewall/VLAN configuration, and Antivirus/EDR solutions.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
