Jr. DHA Pharmacist

About the role

GMG is seeking a Junior DHA‑licensed pharmacist to join its pharmacy team. The role involves providing accurate medication dispensing, advising customers on drug use, and supporting the overall operation of the pharmacy in a fast‑moving retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer prescriptions for accuracy, suitability and required medication.
• Provide information on drug interactions, side effects, dosage and proper storage.
• Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Achieve sales targets through up‑selling and cross‑selling across all Super Care categories.
• Order, receive and manage pharmaceutical and medical supplies, ensuring proper stock handling.
• Maintain compliance with local pharmacy regulations, including labeling, preparation and delivery.
• Maintain and report pharmacy records required by authorities such as the Dubai Health Authority.
• Liaise with insurance companies to process claims and resolve billing issues.
• Handle daily operational tasks such as inventory control, expiry management and merchandising.
• Work flexible shifts and locations as assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Valid DHA license or eligibility letter.
• 1–2 years of experience as a registered pharmacist in the UAE.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of local pharmacy regulations and insurance processing.
