Junior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai on a full‑time, on‑site basis. You will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions and timely processing of invoices.

Key responsibilities

• Record journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Process vendor invoices, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month‑end closing activities.
• Prepare basic financial reports and support the preparation of financial statements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather and organize financial documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE accounting standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of general ledger posting, journal entries and basic financial reporting.
• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing and bank reconciliation processes.
• Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across departments.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Dubai and grow within an industrial and engineering environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and spreadsheets.
• Competence in MS Office applications.
