Junior Bar Supervisor

About the role

As a Junior Supervisor at Rose Bar, Delano Dubai, you will support the day‑to‑day operation of the bar, helping the team deliver a refined yet relaxed guest experience that reflects the distinctive spirit of Delano. Working closely with the leadership team, you will lead by example on the floor, support colleagues throughout service and ensure standards are consistently delivered.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example in delivering warm, intuitive and personalised service to guests.
• Support smooth daily operations, monitoring service flow, table readiness and guest experience.
• Provide hands‑on guidance to the team during service and maintain standards.
• Ensure sequence of service, presentation and operational standards are followed.
• Build genuine relationships with guests, anticipate needs and create memorable experiences.
• Maintain strong knowledge of beverage and food offerings to recommend products.
• Support the team in recommending beverages and signature offerings to enhance revenue.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, mise‑en‑place and venue readiness.
• Coordinate closely with bar, kitchen and wider F&B teams for seamless communication.
• Respond confidently to guest feedback, resolving issues promptly or escalating as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, grooming and health‑and‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel, high‑end bar or restaurant, preferably with exposure to a senior waiter or junior supervisory role.
• Emerging leadership skills and readiness to guide colleagues on the floor.
• Guest‑focused attitude with the ability to balance polished service and Delano’s relaxed personality.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, service sequence and luxury hospitality standards.
• Organised, attentive and able to maintain standards in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across bar, kitchen and front‑of‑house teams.
• Calm under pressure with sound problem‑solving abilities.
• Relevant hospitality qualification preferred, though practical experience and attitude are valued.
• Personality that aligns with Delano’s celebration of individuality and authenticity.
