Junior Configuration Officer

About the role

The Junior Configuration Officer for Halcon will support project teams with their configuration needs, prepare configuration documentation, and ensure high data quality, integrity and security within the Data Management System (DMS). The role also involves controlling, organizing and distributing company documents.

Key responsibilities

• Support project teams in configuration management activities, including product item configuration, baselining, and change control processes.
• Maintain the Configuration Management database, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, security, and compliance with company procedures.
• Manage document control activities, such as distribution of controlled documents, maintenance of PDI/DDI records, and preparation of data packs.
• Conduct configuration audits and reporting to verify data completeness, monitor configuration status, and support CM governance and compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Configuration Management or Document Control in a junior officer or similar role.
• Minimum High School Diploma with a technical qualification (e.g., National Technical N‑Diploma); a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering is preferred.
• Experience in aerospace, defence, engineering or other highly regulated industries, with at least 2 years in the aerospace or defence sector being an advantage.
