QA/QC Engineer – Lifting Solutions

About the role

Element is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support its lifting‑solutions business across energy, oil & gas, marine, construction and industrial projects. The role ensures that inspection, testing, certification and quality documentation meet the highest standards while delivering products safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in‑process and final inspections of materials, products and assemblies, including handling through lifting and rigging.
• Coordinate test, certification and inspection processes, maintaining accurate product identification, batch numbers, serial numbers and traceability.
• Maintain quality documentation such as inspection reports, NCRs, corrective‑action records, calibration and audit reports.
• Report non‑conformances, determine root causes, initiate corrective actions and follow up on rework.
• Collaborate with production, testing, stores, procurement, HSE, project and dispatch teams as well as customers, vendors and third‑party inspectors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, civil engineering, manufacturing, quality or a related technical discipline.
• 2–5 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing, fabrication, rigging, wire‑rope handling or related industrial sectors.
• Demonstrated experience with inspection, testing, verification and quality documentation.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management system and experience managing NCRs and corrective actions.
