Junior Database Administrator

About the role

The Greater Change is expanding its IT team to support a fast‑growing retail and trading business in the UAE. As a Junior Database Administrator you will work closely with senior IT staff to keep the company’s databases and CRM platforms reliable, secure, and performant in a live commercial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, monitor and perform routine maintenance on core databases and CRM systems (Salesforce, Zoho or similar).
• Maintain data accuracy and integrity within CRM platforms, updating records as needed.
• Monitor performance and data quality, escalating issues promptly.
• Execute regular backups and assist with restore and disaster‑recovery testing.
• Support security controls, access permissions and user management for databases and CRM.
• Create and maintain Excel‑based reports, trackers and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
• Assist with data migration, import/export and integration tasks between business systems.
• Troubleshoot database and CRM issues in coordination with application and infrastructure teams.
• Document configurations, procedures and change logs accurately.
• Support senior team members with system upgrades, patching and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in database administration, CRM support or systems support.
• Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to data integrity and security.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Open to all genders and nationalities.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Zoho.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data management).
• Familiarity with Windows operating environments.

• Base salary of AED 4,000 – 5,000 per month.
