Junior Engineer (Emirate)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Engineer to support engineering activities across multiple projects and operations. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, you will assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of technical tasks from mobilization to project close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Execute operational works on several project sites from handover to closure, including mobilization, procurement, installation, commissioning, monitoring and demobilisation.
• Plan and carry out activities according to the Method Statement, contract scope, best practices and client obligations, reporting any variances.
• Assist in preparing engineering plans, drawings and technical documentation.
• Maintain project files, records and engineering data; operate basic engineering tools and software.
• Conduct routine site inspections, collect data and produce reports.
• Support senior engineers in coordination, problem‑solving and stakeholder communication.
• Adhere to QHSE policies, promote safety and report hazards.
• Provide required reports and ensure quality checklists are completed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or related engineering discipline.
• Additional diploma or certification in a relevant technical field is an asset.
• Certified in basic safety and engineering compliance standards.
• 0–2 years of experience; internship or trainee experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of engineering principles, drawings and basic project workflows.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with engineering software such as MS Project.
• Basic safety compliance and use of engineering tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
