Junior Maintenance Technician – ULD

About the role

As a Junior Maintenance Technician you will support senior technicians in both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of equipment, vehicles and plant across dnata Technical Services workshops. The role focuses on ULD (Unit Load Device) repair and assembly while ensuring safety, reliability and compliance with industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily tasks within your assigned area.
• Maintain workshop housekeeping and proper tool care.
• Assist in diagnosing and repairing faults on equipment, vehicles and plant to minimise downtime.
• Record all work activities in the logbook and Maintenance Management System.
• Notify senior technicians of required spare parts and tools.
• Support scheduled maintenance according to manufacturer recommendations, ISO standards and legal requirements.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure operational reliability and safety.
• Carry out ULD repair and assembly following MOE procedures, EASA/GCAA regulations and safety standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, automotive or electrical mechanic roles.
• At least a 2‑year trade certificate in an engineering discipline.

Required skills

• Fault diagnosis and repair of mechanical/electrical systems.
• Use of maintenance management software for logging work.
• Knowledge of ISO, EASA and GCAA safety and regulatory standards.
• Equipment inspection and preventive maintenance.
