Junior Planning Engineer (UAE National) – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Planning Engineer (UAE National) to support rail and metro projects in Dubai. The role involves creating and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress against the Performance Measurement Baseline, and assisting with claims and risk analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop contract programmes using WBS, OBS, RAM and load cost and resource data.
• Prepare resource plans, productivity rates and operational schedules.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly planning reports and KPIs.
• Report progress, identify critical issues and propose mitigation actions.
• Conduct delay analysis and support Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
• Coordinate with client, consultant and finance teams to protect contractual rights.
• Maintain project controls procedures, schedules and cost reports.
• Lead or support risk management and risk analysis updates.

Required profile

• UAE national.
• Minimum 4 years experience in project management.
• Minimum 6 years experience in communications and control systems, preferably in metro/rail projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management structures (WBS, OBS, RAM, PMB).
• Experience with scheduling techniques (PERT, Critical Path) and Schedule Risk Analysis.
