KS3/4 Science Teacher

About the role

The School is looking for a positive, enthusiastic and creative Science teacher for Key Stages 3 and 4. You will join a friendly, efficient team and help deliver the secondary Science curriculum while supporting students’ personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Science lessons for Year 7 to Year 11.
• Collaborate with Key Stage leaders and senior management to ensure curriculum alignment.
• Provide pastoral care and support for students.
• Participate in in‑school INSET sessions and contribute to school initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant British teaching qualification (Bachelor’s degree plus recognised teaching credential).
• Minimum two years recent experience teaching KS3/KS4 Science.
• Good knowledge of the AQA GCSE Science curriculum and current UK practice.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with parents.
• Flexibility, adaptability and a proactive research mindset.
• Leadership qualities and willingness to deliver in‑school training.
