Land Surveyor – Civil & Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to lead surveying activities for civil, structural and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures accurate setting‑out, measurement, verification and recording of works in line with approved drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise surveying and setting‑out tasks to support civil and structural works.
• Establish, verify and maintain survey control networks, benchmarks and reference levels throughout the project.
• Conduct topographic, construction, verification and as‑built surveys for buildings, foundations, trenches, underground services, roads and drainage.
• Review engineering drawings and specifications to identify survey requirements and discrepancies before construction.
• Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, field notes, calculations and as‑built documentation.
• Supervise survey assistants and ensure proper maintenance and calibration of survey instruments.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Survey Engineering, Geomatics or related field.
• 8–10 years of land surveying experience on civil and infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years in the UAE preferred.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic or other languages are a plus.

Required skills

• AutoCAD and survey‑specific software.
• Operation of Total Station, GPS/GNSS and levelling equipment.
• Survey calculations, coordinate data handling and as‑built preparation.
• Knowledge of survey control networks, benchmarks and coordinate systems.
