Land Surveyor (Irrigation & Landscaping)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Land Surveyor specialized in irrigation and landscaping to join its Dubai team. You will work on‑site as part of a survey crew, delivering accurate field surveys and supporting the design and construction of infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform land/field surveys and conduct geodetic calculations.
• Interface with clients and contractors to confirm survey requirements.
• Complete surveying tasks within schedule, man‑hour and cost budgets.
• Check setting‑out, levels, and service locations to ensure protection.
• Prepare sketches, maintain field books, and record calculations.
• Assist engineers with verification of shop drawings, control points, benchmarks, and earthwork cross‑sections.
• Measure inspected works, support preparation of as‑built drawings, and review record drawings.
• Participate actively in health and safety activities on site.

Required profile

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience inspecting and supervising irrigation and landscaping works.
• Proficiency with survey equipment such as total stations, levels, and theodolites.
• Working knowledge of MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Legal right to work and reside in the UAE.
