Laundry Supervisor – In‑Charge (Hotel)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Laundry Supervisor In‑Charge to lead the laundry department at InterContinental Dubai Marina, a five‑star hotel in the heart of Dubai Marina. The role combines hands‑on operation of laundry equipment with supervisory responsibilities to ensure guest laundry and hotel linens meet luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Run laundry shifts independently, including ordering uniforms and coordinating with commercial laundry and uniform suppliers.
• Oversee the uniform room, valet pick‑up and return, and interact professionally with guests.
• Operate all laundry machines, including dry‑cleaning and sport‑removal equipment, and ensure high‑standard stain identification and removal.
• Receive, count, and process guest laundry from the commercial provider.
• Assist with linen inventories and supervise washing, drying, pressing, folding, sorting and distribution of linens, towels, uniforms and guest garments.
• Prepare purchase requisitions and manage inventory levels of laundry supplies.
• Monitor workflow to guarantee timely completion and delivery of guest laundry within service timelines.

Required profile

• Ability to run a shift alone when required.
• Proficiency in operating all laundry machines, including dry‑cleaning and sport‑removal equipment.
• Strong competence in identifying stains and applying appropriate removal techniques.
• Experience supervising laundry operations in a hotel environment.
