Lead Architect

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Architect to lead architectural design coordination and provide site supervision for large‑scale building projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural design review and technical coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supervise on‑site architectural works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and contract requirements.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements and mock‑ups.
• Conduct regular site inspections, prepare observation reports and manage QA/QC activities.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities to resolve technical issues and monitor construction progress.
• Lead snagging, de‑snagging and handover processes, and mentor junior architects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture; professional registration preferred.
• Minimum 15+ years of architectural experience, including construction supervision on projects > USD 100M.
• Experience with large‑scale mixed‑use, commercial, hospitality, residential, aviation, healthcare or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes, DMT, ADM and local authority requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with BIM platforms.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office.
