Lead Civil & Structural Engineer

About the role

KBR is seeking a Lead Civil & Structural Engineer to join its Sustainable Technology Solutions team in Abu Dhabi. The role will lead civil and structural engineering activities on large‑scale oil & gas projects, focusing on NGL and gas processing facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the civil and structural design for FEED and EPC phases of mega oil & gas projects exceeding USD 1 billion.
• Coordinate detailed engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with client specifications and international standards.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and interface with process, mechanical and procurement disciplines.
• Oversee technical reviews, constructability assessments, and risk analyses for NGL and gas processing plants.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of experience in oil & gas civil/structural engineering.
• Proven track record on FEED/EPC projects of >USD 1 billion.
• Experience with NGL and gas processing plant projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
