Lead Commissioning Engineer – Electrical (WHT Subsea Cable & Piping)

About the role

KBR is seeking a Lead Commissioning Engineer – Electrical to oversee subsea cable and piping activities on an Offshore Well Head Tower/Platform project. The role starts in Abu Dhabi, moves to a fabrication yard, and then to the offshore site on a rotating schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead electrical commissioning for subsea cable and piping systems on the Well Head Tower project.
• Coordinate with client and contractor offices during the initial Abu Dhabi phase.
• Manage transition to the fabrication yard and offshore site, following a 6‑week/3‑week rotation as required.
• Ensure all commissioning work complies with project specifications and safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• At least 5 years experience on ADNOC projects.
• Experience with well head tower, subsea cable and piping in brownfield modification projects is an advantage.
• 5 years in a similar role on mega FEED/EPC projects (>$1 billion).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
