Lead Engineer, Project – Site

About the role

KBR is seeking a Lead Engineer to oversee site‑based project delivery for a major gas processing and compression programme in Abu Dhabi. The role sits within KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions business, delivering high‑value engineering and advisory services for oil and gas assets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the engineering execution of gas processing, compression and pipeline works on a multi‑million‑dollar project.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure design, procurement and construction meet schedule, cost and quality targets.
• Manage interfaces with ADNOC and other client stakeholders, ensuring compliance with sour‑gas treatment requirements.
• Oversee development of common utilities, infrastructure and on‑site facilities for gas processing plants.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and consultants.

Required profile

• Minimum 25 years of experience in oil & gas EPC projects.
• Proven track record on gas pipeline, NGL pipeline networks and sour‑gas treatment projects.
• At least 5 years of on‑shore and off‑shore project experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (any discipline).
