Project Director – Master‑Planned Communities

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Director / Senior Project Director to lead the delivery of major horizontal infrastructure and community development projects across large‑scale master‑planned developments in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of roads, utilities, power networks and enabling works packages.
• Oversee planning, design, procurement and execution phases, ensuring programme, budget, quality and safety targets are met.
• Manage consultants, contractors and delivery partners, coordinating with internal departments, authorities and external stakeholders.
• Develop and implement project delivery strategies aligned with overall development goals.
• Monitor progress, risks, change management and commercial performance across multiple workstreams.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, governance requirements and development standards.
• Drive value‑engineering and risk‑management initiatives to optimise outcomes.
• Provide strategic leadership, mentor direct reports and deliver regular status reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale master‑planned communities, mixed‑use or major infrastructure‑led projects in the GCC or comparable markets.
• Background working for leading developers, project‑management consultancies or client‑side organisations.
• Expertise managing horizontal infrastructure packages such as roads, utilities and power networks.
• Commercially astute leader with strong stakeholder‑management, governance and team‑leadership capabilities.

What we offer

• Annual salary between AED 750,000 and AED 950,000.
