Lead, Events – Zayed Sustainability Prize

About the role

Lead the planning, delivery and continuous enhancement of the Zayed Sustainability Prize's events portfolio, ensuring successful execution of high‑profile local, regional and international events that strengthen the Prize's global reputation and stakeholder engagement. The role oversees end‑to‑end event planning, agency and supplier management, cross‑functional coordination and delivery in line with brand standards, budget and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement the annual events calendar aligned with strategic priorities.
• Identify and evaluate key events that boost the Prize's visibility and global reach.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines and quality standards for all Prize‑led events.
• Manage external agencies, suppliers and service providers, ensuring compliance with procurement procedures.
• Monitor budgets, timelines and deliverables, proactively mitigating risks.
• Lead post‑event evaluations, capture lessons learned and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience planning and delivering corporate events, conferences or stakeholder engagements.
• Proven experience managing external agencies, suppliers and vendors with responsibility for budgets and timelines.
• Experience in international, government, sustainability or corporate environments is an advantage.
