Lead Key Account Manager – Modern Trade (Dubai)

About the role

Arla is looking for an ambitious, proactive Lead Key Account Manager to own its top Modern Trade account in the UAE. Reporting to the Head of Modern Trade – UAE and based in Dubai, you will drive revenue, profitability and growth across multiple retail channels.

Key responsibilities

• Take full P&L responsibility for Arla UAE's leading account.
• Lead the direct sales process to achieve or surpass volume, revenue and profitability targets.
• Spearhead sales expansion by introducing new products, growth strategies and services.
• Operate as an omni‑channel manager, tailoring approaches for hypermarkets, supermarkets, e‑commerce and more.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Logistics and Operations to co‑develop effective strategies.
• Develop short‑ and long‑term sales plans using marketing and customer programs.
• Analyse raw data and derive insights using Nielsen/Dunnhumby tools.
• Execute Net Revenue Management initiatives within the customer.
• Strengthen customer relationships through joint business planning.
• Ensure high‑quality customer service and work closely with the Field Sales team for exceptional execution.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience with a globally recognised FMCG organisation.
• Proven P&L management of a key account.
• Passion for elevating customer relationships via joint business planning.
• Ability to act as a driving force within the Modern Trade team.
• Expertise in direct sales processes and consistently meeting volume, revenue and profitability targets.
• Strong analytical skills, converting data into insights using Nielsen/Dunnhumby.
• Fluency in English (mandatory); French and Arabic are an advantage.
• Ability to collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Supply Chain and Field Sales.
