Lead Process Engineer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Wood is seeking a Lead Process Engineer to drive technical excellence in process design and engineering for its Abu Dhabi projects. You will ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and coordinate closely with EPC contractors, consultants and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across all process design activities.
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards.
• Coordinate, monitor and manage process design and engineering with EPC contractors to meet project timelines.
• Conduct regular technical reviews of deliverables from consultants and contractors.
• Lead integration of process engineering within the IPMT team and ensure quality of design outputs.
• Participate in equipment sizing, selection, layout, model and design reviews.
• Support installation, pre‑commissioning and commissioning phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in process engineering within the oil & gas sector.
• Proven experience coordinating with EPC contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
