Lead QA/QC Engineer – Electrical & Instrumentation

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Lead QA/QC Engineer to direct all Electrical & Instrumentation quality assurance and control activities across our major EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures strict compliance with project specifications, international standards and corporate quality policies while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and enforce project‑specific QA/QC procedures aligned with corporate standards and client requirements.
• Monitor QA/QC activities throughout all project phases to guarantee full compliance.
• Lead and supervise all E&I inspection and testing activities, reviewing inspection records, test reports and quality documentation.
• Identify, document and manage non‑conformances, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain comprehensive QA/QC records, prepare regular quality performance reports and analyse metrics for improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quality systems, verify material and equipment compliance and coordinate corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in QA/QC within Electrical & Instrumentation for EPC or oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and international quality standards.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage non‑conformances and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
