Lead Quality Assurance Engineer – Network Operations

About the role

Emirates is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to own the quality posture of its Network Operations portfolio. You will work within an agile release train, driving modern testing practices and ensuring that critical airline systems perform flawlessly for live operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement quality engineering processes for a suite of platinum‑tier, day‑of‑operations systems.
• Lead the adoption of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices and automated testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects and software engineers to understand delivery context and translate requirements into test strategies.
• Mentor and guide a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Monitor and report on quality metrics, ensuring compliance with industry standards and Emirates’ internal guidelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
• Proven leadership experience in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
• Strong understanding of airline or mission‑critical system operations is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
