Director, Solution Architecture

About the role

The Director of Solution Architecture will lead the technical strategy for Context Labs’ oil & gas and GHG emissions products. Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, the role bridges sales, product, and customer teams to deliver demos, assess digital readiness, and solve complex data integration challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Define pre‑sales technical positioning, demo standards, and reference implementation strategies.
• Establish architectural standards, reusable design patterns, and emissions calculation methodologies across the portfolio.
• Govern discovery, qualification, and delivery standards to ensure consistent capture of system‑level requirements.
• Set portfolio‑wide data integration, asset modeling, and scalability standards.
• Align post‑sales handoff processes and maintain architectural consistency across implementations.

Required profile

• Proven ability to balance revenue growth with delivery risk, regulatory exposure, and platform integrity.
• Experience building and leading a solution architecture organization in complex enterprise software implementations.
• Deep understanding of emissions architecture, knowledge graph design, and data integration strategies.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
