About the role
Gadget Express is seeking a part‑time Lead Software Engineer to shape the architecture and implementation of our software projects. You will bridge offshore and onsite teams, turning innovative ideas into reliable, high‑performing applications.
Key responsibilities
- Define and oversee software architecture and development plans.
- Assign tasks, estimate timelines, and track progress with project managers.
- Write code while ensuring code quality and adherence to internal standards.
- Coordinate between offshore and onsite developers to align efforts.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative environment.
Required profile
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Proven mentorship experience.
- Passion for Agile development practices.
Required skills
- Extensive experience with MVC and .NET technologies.
- Windows Services development.
- MS SQL database modeling and design.
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.
- Mobile development for Android and iOS.
- External system integration.
- Web API and WCF services.
