Legal & Compliance Specialist

About the role

This position supports a leading multinational pharmaceutical company in Dubai, ensuring that all legal, regulatory and internal requirements are met. You will play a key part in safeguarding the organization’s legal and ethical standing through contract management, policy implementation and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Support compliance with local and international laws, regulations and internal policies.
• Assist with contract administration, regulatory submissions, policy rollout and risk assessments.
• Draft, review and manage contracts, agreements, NDAs and other legal documents.
• Maintain contract repositories and legal records, keeping them up‑to‑date.
• Support dispute resolution and prepare litigation‑related documentation when needed.
• Monitor adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
• Help develop, implement and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
• Participate in internal compliance audits and conduct risk assessments.
• Lead drafting, review and periodic updates of internal policies and codes of conduct.
• Assist investigations related to compliance breaches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in legal, ethics or compliance functions.
• Prior experience in the life‑sciences sector (pharmaceuticals, medical devices or other regulated industries).
• Strong capabilities in legal drafting, document review, corporate law and compliance frameworks.
• In‑depth knowledge of relevant local and international legal and regulatory requirements.
• Availability for face‑to‑face interviews in Dubai.
