Legal Counsel – Arabic Speaker (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel who is fluent in Arabic to join a leading IT manufacturing company in Dubai. The role involves providing comprehensive legal support across commercial, corporate, technology, regulatory and operational matters for both UAE and international operations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage commercial contracts, NDAs, reseller, supplier, cloud and technology service agreements.
• Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, employment, compliance, procurement and operational issues.
• Support contract lifecycle management and ensure alignment with company risk policies.
• Advise on intellectual property protection for software, hardware, trade secrets and proprietary technologies.
• Manage legal risks linked to international transactions, procurement projects and government tenders.
• Assist with disputes, claims management and coordination of external counsel when required.
• Support corporate governance activities, including board resolutions and regulatory filings.
• Work with business teams to structure transactions that balance commercial objectives with legal risk.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial legal practice, preferably within technology, IT, telecommunications, cloud, cybersecurity or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong knowledge of UAE commercial and corporate law.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate contracts independently while managing multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills, with a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
