Legal Counsel – Corporate & Commercial

About the role

The Legal Counsel – Corporate & Commercial will provide day‑to‑day legal support to Al Fahim Group’s diverse businesses. Reporting to the Head of Legal, the role focuses on corporate housekeeping, contract drafting and review, and transactional assistance across automotive, real estate and other commercial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver practical legal advice on corporate and commercial matters, identifying risks and recommending mitigations.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of agreements including NDAs, LOIs, joint venture documents, supplier and customer contracts, service agreements, procurement and banking documents.
• Support internal and external negotiations and attend business unit meetings to provide legal input.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on UAE legislation, especially changes in the Emirates where the Group operates.
• Perform legal due diligence for M&A transactions and assist in the preparation of internal guidelines, memos and standard contract templates.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in corporate and commercial law, preferably within the automotive or real‑estate sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to work under supervision on complex matters and to escalate high‑risk issues promptly.
• Strong analytical skills and the capacity to translate legal concepts into business‑friendly advice.
