Regulatory Compliance Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Regulatory Compliance Consultant to join a leading consulting firm in Abu Dhabi on a short‑term, on‑site engagement. The role focuses on conduct risk management and the implementation of compliance frameworks aligned with UAE and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review, enhance, and implement compliance policies and frameworks to meet UAE regulatory requirements, including CBUAE guidelines.
• Develop and deliver compliance monitoring plans, risk assessments, and conduct risk frameworks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with evolving regulatory standards.
• Provide regulatory advice, prepare reports for senior management and regulators, and support training on compliance risks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or related roles within financial services, consulting, or banking.
• Strong knowledge of conduct risk frameworks, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
• Proven ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage stakeholder relationships.

Required skills

• Familiarity with UAE regulatory standards, especially CBUAE guidelines.
• Experience conducting gap assessments, drafting policies, and implementing effective controls.
• Strong report‑writing, analytical, and presentation abilities.
