Logistic Coordinator – Mandarin speaker

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will support the Logistics Manager in daily logistics operations, focusing on inventory control, import/export activities, and customer communication. Fluency in Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin‑speaking partners and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Review minimum inventory levels with the country manager and logistics team to keep stock inflow and outflow up to date.
• Supervise, oversee, and plan all activities related to inventory control.
• Compile inventory information and present it to management for decision‑making, including restocking needs.
• Work with the warehouse manager to ensure proper receipt, preservation, and distribution of chemicals without loss or damage.
• Provide accurate inventory information to customers.
• Maintain inventory records in Oracle, accounting for issues, returns, receipts, and back orders.
• Review inventory balances and conduct cycle counts.
• Coordinate annual physical counts.
• Assist the Logistics Manager with shipments to and from warehouses.
• Prepare sales and service invoices and distribute them.
• Prepare export documentation as required by the Logistics Department.
• Reconcile warehouse inventory with system inventory for warehouses/rigs periodically.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and clear import shipments.
• Review freight forwarder service invoices and forward them to the Logistics Manager for approval.
