Logistics Assistant – FMCG (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Logistics Assistant to support daily logistics, inventory and order processing for a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) operation in Dubai. The role involves coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring timely delivery of products.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily logistics and supply chain operations.
• Coordinate orders and deliveries with suppliers, customers, transporters and internal teams.
• Prepare and maintain shipping, delivery and import/export documentation.
• Track shipments and provide regular status updates.
• Work with warehouse teams on stock movement, loading and dispatch.
• Monitor inventory levels and keep accurate stock records.
• Process purchase orders, delivery orders, invoices and related paperwork.
• Follow up with transport companies and logistics partners to ensure timely dispatch.
• Resolve delivery discrepancies, delays and order‑related issues.
• Prepare regular logistics, inventory and shipment reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain or warehouse operations.
• Experience in the FMCG or Food & Beverage industry is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of import/export procedures and logistics documentation.
• Good understanding of inventory and order management processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
