Logistics Manager

About the role

The Logistics Manager leads all warehouse and logistics operations for Abu Dhabi Airports, ensuring efficient material flow, safety, and compliance across multiple storage locations. This senior role reports to the Head of Department and works closely with procurement, operations, and HSE teams to support the airport’s operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and supervise warehouse and logistics staff.
• Plan, coordinate and oversee all warehouse activities, including receipt, inspection, storage, issuance and distribution of materials.
• Manage the airport’s fleet operations and coordinate with procurement and operational departments.
• Maintain security, preservation and optimal utilization of warehouse space.
• Handle scrap material disposal and tender sales.
• Monitor outsourced service providers and manage budgets, financial records and KPIs.
• Oversee maintenance of vehicles, equipment and machinery.
• Organise safety drills, promote HSE awareness and support risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and HSE standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Specialised training in Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management or Inventory Management.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in logistics, warehouse or fleet management.
• Proven ability to develop staff, manage budgets and drive process improvements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for inventory transactions and reporting.
• Experience in fleet and vehicle management.
• Knowledge of warehouse space optimisation and scrap handling procedures.
