Logistics Teamleader – UAE

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Teamleader to coordinate and manage transportation, import/export, and logistics activities for equipment and materials across the UAE. The role supports project mobilisation, demobilisation and ensures seamless movement of spare parts and heavy machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end logistics process for equipment and spare parts, from order intake to delivery and system closure.
• Coordinate transportation activities, securing cost‑effective and timely movement locally and internationally.
• Prepare logistics plans, obtain quotations, create purchase orders and monitor shipment execution.
• Maintain accurate logistics records in the D365 system and ensure data integrity.
• Handle customs clearance, import/export documentation and compliance with local regulations.
• Work closely with freight forwarders, transporters, customs agents, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct transportation and cargo inspections, including lashing plan verification and pre‑delivery checks.
• Monitor logistics costs, support budget control and ensure approvals follow company guidelines.
• Assist project mobilisation/demobilisation and resolve logistics‑related claims or disruptions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of logistics processes while adhering to QHSE standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in logistics coordination, transportation management or supply chain operations, preferably in construction, heavy equipment or industrial sectors.
• Familiarity with import/export processes, customs regulations and international shipping documentation.
• Strong planning, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent written and spoken English; experience in the Middle East is an advantage.
