Logistics Officer – International Inbound & Warehouse Operations

About the role

We are partnering with an Asian business expanding into the UAE market and need a hands‑on Logistics Officer to manage day‑to‑day logistics and warehouse operations. The role focuses on coordinating international inbound shipments from APAC, ensuring smooth inventory flow from origin to final delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound shipments from APAC suppliers to the UAE, managing freight forwarders, shipping lines and customs brokers.
• Prepare and monitor import documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading and certificates of origin.
• Track shipments, resolve delays and ensure compliance with UAE import regulations and Incoterms.
• Oversee daily inbound and outbound warehouse activities, including receiving, put‑away, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in the warehouse management system and support cycle counts.
• Coordinate deliveries with local transport providers, couriers and 3PL partners, and verify logistics invoices.
• Update ERP/WMS records, follow SOPs and contribute to continuous improvement of logistics processes.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain or warehouse operations, preferably with international inbound shipments from APAC.
• Familiarity with import/export documentation, customs clearance and Incoterms.
• Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers and third‑party logistics providers.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
