Logistics Supervisor

About the role

DP World is seeking a proactive Logistics Supervisor to lead daily warehouse and transportation operations in Dubai. The role ensures seamless coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, maintains inventory accuracy, and drives continuous improvement across logistics processes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of logistics staff, including warehouse associates, drivers, and dispatchers.
• Plan and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on‑time delivery and receipt.
• Manage inventory accuracy through regular audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve logistics issues and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal transportation requirements.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery accuracy, transit time, and cost efficiency.
• Develop and implement process improvements to optimize warehouse layout, material handling, and logistics workflows.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to shipping, receiving, and inventory.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate logistics staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to support overall supply chain goals.

Required profile

• Experience supervising logistics or warehouse teams.
• Ability to plan and monitor shipments and inventory.
• Strong coordination skills with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and legal transportation requirements.
• Proficiency in tracking and reporting logistics KPIs.
