Loss Prevention Officer – Hotel Security

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer ensures the safety of guests, employees and assets at The Ritz‑Carlton Dubai. Working on‑site, you will monitor security systems, conduct key control audits and respond swiftly to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct key control audits, issue and receive master keys, radios and beepers.
• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, and respond to alarms.
• Provide first aid/CPR and coordinate emergency medical services when needed.
• Defuse guest or employee disturbances and escort unwelcome persons.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries and daily activity logs.
• Maintain confidentiality of all security documentation.
• Support training initiatives and act as a role model for the team.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 month of relevant experience in security or loss prevention.
• Ability to remain calm and decisive during emergencies.
• Strong communication skills and professional appearance.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
