Lubricants Operations Team Leader

About the role

The Lubricants Operations Team Leader will plan, supervise and optimise blending and filling activities performed by third‑party toll blending companies under ADNOC Distribution contracts. The role ensures timely production of lubricants, greases and specialty oils in line with sales forecasts, while maintaining ISO 9001 quality standards and cost‑effective operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with toll blending partners to develop daily and weekly production schedules based on the weekly production programme.
• Manage receipt of base oils and additives, and arrange bulk delivery of finished lubricants.
• Prepare monthly COGS calculations for all lubricant and grease products.
• Release material requirements and production orders to blending partners, ensuring correct formulations and timely SAP updates.
• Supervise daily blending, filling and bulk delivery operations, monitoring output against ISO 9001‑2015 requirements.
• Oversee sample withdrawal of finished products and liaise with the Quality Control Laboratory for testing.
• Manage storage and distribution of GRP‑III base oils to maximise value for the trading business.
• Lead in‑house production of ADNOC Blue.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production planning or operations within the lubricants, greases or chemical manufacturing sector.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Familiarity with SAP for production and material movement transactions.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including sales, planning, stores and third‑party manufacturers.
