Maintenance Team Lead

About the role

The Maintenance Team Lead will head a group of technicians responsible for the upkeep of food and beverage processing lines. You will ensure equipment reliability, drive preventive maintenance programs, and support continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and schedule maintenance for Tetra Pak, Krones, federal filler and Gable Top lines.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid production interruptions.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, diagnose root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Analyse spare‑part usage, lead times and criticality to optimise inventory levels.
• Enforce safety procedures including lockout/tagout, guarding and equipment inspections.
• Maintain emergency response plans for equipment failures, chemical spills or fires.
• Monitor technician performance, conduct evaluations and provide feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in dairy or beverage manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience with Tetra Pak equipment and related processing lines.
• Proven ability to lead a maintenance team and drive continuous improvement.
