Mechanical Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will carry out mechanical maintenance on safety‑critical and non‑safety systems at the Barakah plant. The role ensures high equipment reliability, supports plant readiness, and upholds the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned and corrective mechanical maintenance on nuclear steam supply system (NSSS) equipment, balance‑of‑plant (BOP) assets, and associated structures.
• Prepare and stage maintenance work, including procurement of spare parts and special tools.
• Attend pre‑ and post‑job briefings, supervise maintenance teams, and ensure compliance with Nawah maintenance standards.
• Document equipment history, update material master data, and conduct periodic surveillance tests.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems and components to resolve issues promptly.
• Support outage and Emergency Response Organization (ERO) activities.
• Provide feedback on training programs and ensure adherence to the Maintenance Code of Conduct.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in mechanical maintenance of industrial or nuclear plant equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures, safety protocols, and documentation requirements.
• Willingness to support outage and emergency response operations.
