Maintenance Technician - Elevators & Escalators

About the role

As a Maintenance Technician for elevators and escalators, you will ensure reliable operation, safety and performance of equipment for KONE customers in Dubai. You will perform scheduled maintenance, respond to call‑outs and communicate proactively with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships by providing quality service and timely on‑site communication (ETA, job details).
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults and execute repairs on elevators and escalators.
• Report work performed in real time and maintain accurate back‑reporting at equipment level.
• Identify site risks, take immediate action on high‑risk issues and follow escalation procedures.

Required profile

• ITI/Vocational Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Automation engineering (or equivalent).
• 2‑5 years of solid preventive maintenance and troubleshooting experience with a reputable elevator company.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.

Required skills

• Basic IT and digital foundation skills.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of elevator systems.
