Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician in the Technology and Solutions department will install, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise‑grade video surveillance and security systems. The role combines hands‑on technical work, customer support, and compliance with local security regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, configure, and maintain high‑availability Windows Server environments for video surveillance workloads.
• Install and configure Milestone VMS and integrate edge devices.
• Perform expert‑level configuration of Axis network cameras, encoders, and thermal devices.
• Diagnose and resolve networking issues (switches, VLANs, routing, bandwidth optimization) to ensure low‑latency streaming.
• Conduct system stress, failover, and health‑check testing to achieve 99.9% uptime.
• Execute periodic audits, firmware updates, backups, and patch management.
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support on‑site and remotely, and produce detailed technical documentation.

Required profile

• Valid SIRA and ADMCC certifications.
• Milestone Integration Technician/Engineer certification.
• Axis Certified Professional (ACP) preferred.
• Additional certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, AZ‑800, AS801, CCNA/CCNP are a plus.
