Manager, Business Development - Digital Giant Segment

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager to lead Business Development for the Digital Giant segment across EEMEA. The role focuses on expanding revenue, deepening relationships with large digital partners, and embedding Mastercard’s payment solutions into emerging digital ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with digital giants across EEMEA to commercialise deals, increase acceptance, and optimise portfolio revenue.
• Own the end‑to‑end relationship with assigned accounts, developing joint strategies and executing them with Mastercard’s internal teams.
• Drive revenue growth by building business cases, conducting ROI analyses, and leading responses to RFPs.
• Analyse financial and payment data to deliver data‑driven recommendations for partners.
• Establish senior‑level relationships, create roadmaps, and ensure alignment through QBRs and regular interactions.
• Lead negotiations, draft term sheets and contracts, and build a pipeline to accelerate ecosystem growth.

Required profile

• Proven ability to operate with high empowerment and accountability at both strategic and operational levels.
• Strong relationship‑management skills with experience engaging banks, governments and third‑party processors.
• Experience negotiating and managing multiple large‑scale digital‑giant customers across markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience; extensive knowledge of payments, data processing and financial industry practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with a track record of deal commercialisation and P&L management.
• Analytical, results‑driven mindset with the ability to develop financial models, business cases and strategic roadmaps.
