Manager – Consolidation & Reporting

About the role

We are seeking a Manager to lead our Group financial close and consolidation activities, ensuring timely, accurate reporting for Velora Aviation. The role will oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements, management reports, and shareholder packs while maintaining compliance with IFRS.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end group financial close and consolidation process.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, management reports and shareholder reporting packs.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, foreign‑currency translations and consolidation adjustments.
• Oversee statutory financial reporting and ensure IFRS compliance.
• Conduct technical accounting assessments and draft accounting position papers for complex transactions.
• Maintain accounting policies, reporting guidelines and monitor new or amended IFRS standards.
• Coordinate external audit requirements, providing financial statements, schedules and supporting documentation.
• Drive process improvements, automation and standardisation to enhance reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; ACCA, ACA, CA, CPA or a Master’s preferred.
• 6–8 years of finance experience in large multi‑entity organisations, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
• Strong expertise in IFRS, group consolidation, statutory reporting and intercompany eliminations.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle FCCS, SAP S/4HANA, financial close processes and audit support.
