Senior Head - Commodity Financing Solutions

About the role

The Senior Head – Commodity Financing Solutions will lead the commodity financing business within the Corporate & Investment Banking Group, driving strategy, sales and client relationships across the MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the group’s commodity financing strategy, translating it into short‑, medium‑ and long‑term business plans.
• Lead acquisition of new clients and expand existing relationships within the commodity sector.
• Analyse market trends and regulatory changes to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage and develop teams, overseeing performance, recruitment, learning and development.
• Drive change initiatives, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in commodity sales, structured derivatives and credit solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Deep understanding of commodity markets and financing structures.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and client‑management skills.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and drive team performance.
