Manager - Fraud Investigations

About the role

Emirates NBD is seeking an experienced manager to lead its most complex and high‑profile fraud and non‑fraud investigations across the Group. The role will ensure compliance with heightened regulatory expectations, drive cross‑border casework and use analytics to improve investigative outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and resolve complex, sensitive investigations, ensuring best practices in evidence handling and reporting.
• Interpret and implement new regulatory requirements (CBUAE, Basel, UAE PDPL, etc.) and ensure investigations meet or exceed expectations.
• Initiate and coordinate cross‑border investigations, building relationships with international regulators, law enforcement and peer institutions.
• Conduct investigations into non‑fraud risks such as misconduct, policy breaches and operational losses.
• Apply data analytics to identify patterns, support investigations and recommend controls.
• Develop and deliver advanced training for investigators, mentor staff and share lessons learned.
• Liaise with business units, legal, HR, regulators and law enforcement as needed.

Required profile

• Professional qualification such as CFE, ACA, ACCA, ICWA, CIA or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in complex fraud and non‑fraud investigations, preferably in a global banking environment.
• Strong strategic thinking, global awareness and adaptability.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Demonstrated regulatory compliance knowledge and analytical thinking.
