Manager, In-Country Value Development

About the role

The Manager, In‑Country Value Development leads the creation and execution of ADNOC’s ICV strategy, aiming to diversify the UAE’s GDP, increase Emiratisation and localise critical supply‑chain components. The role works closely with internal teams, top suppliers and government agencies to embed local value across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation and refinement of the In‑Country Value (ICV) strategy, policy and procedures.
• Engage with ADNOC’s top suppliers, business organisations and government bodies to drive localisation and Emiratisation objectives.
• Coordinate with category management, business planning and procurement teams to assess forecasted requirements and identify ICV potential.
• Support tendering processes by providing ICV targets and negotiating with high‑ICV suppliers.
• Represent the ICV programme at business forums, trade shows and internal communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of supply‑chain experience, at least 8 years in a supervisory/managerial role, preferably in oil & gas.
• Proven ability to develop strategy, influence senior management and work with government stakeholders.
