Manager - ISSC Secretariat & Research

About the role

The Manager – ISSC Secretariat & Research is responsible for overseeing the Internal Shariah Supervisory Committee (ISSC) secretariat functions and conducting research as required by the committee and Division Head. This position is open to UAE nationals only and operates within the regulatory framework set by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE).

Key responsibilities

• Manage the vertical for ISSC Secretariat & Research within the Division.
• Organise and coordinate ISSC meetings, ensuring proper agenda preparation and minute taking.
• Track communications and monitor compliance with ISSC guidelines.
• Conduct research and prepare reports as requested by the ISSC Secretary and Division Head.
• Ensure all activities align with CBUAE regulations and internal policies.

Required profile

• UAE national.
• Proven experience in secretariat or administrative management, preferably within a financial or regulatory environment.
• Strong understanding of CBUAE regulations related to Shariah supervision.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
