Manager – Receivables & Collections

About the role

The Manager – Receivables & Collections will lead the management of receivables and collection performance across off‑plan development projects and the company’s leased asset portfolio. This role ensures accurate monitoring, cash‑flow forecasting, default handling and coordination with Sales, Leasing, Finance and Legal teams while supporting regulatory compliance and executive reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor off‑plan project receivables in line with Sale & Purchase Agreements, payment plans and project milestones.
• Record, reconcile and follow up customer instalments, collections and post‑dated cheques, escalating overdue cases promptly.
• Manage leasing portfolio receivables, including tenant payments, security deposits and post‑dated cheques, and perform ageing analysis.
• Prepare cash‑flow forecasts for off‑plan collections and leasing rental income, and compare actual collections against forecasts.
• Coordinate with Sales and Leasing teams to align payment plans, optimise rental payment structures and assess credit risk.
• Identify potential defaults, issue default notices and work with Legal on SPA cancellations, lease enforcement and recovery actions.
• Produce periodic reports on collection performance, ageing analysis, recovery status and cash‑flow variance for executive dashboards.
